Booking Conditions


Arrival and Departure Times

Check-in time is from 3.00 pm and check-out time is before 10.00 am, unless by prior arrangement. At departure guests are required to wash all dishes, place rubbish in receptacles provided and leave cottage in a clean and tidy state. Should housekeeping have to undertake extensive servicing to return cottage to an acceptable standard, Rivarnia management reserves the right to charge the credit card provided $45 for every additional hour required or part thereof.

 

Balance Payment

To be paid in full upon booking either with credit card over the phone or bank transfer.


Age gaps for tariffs

For the purpose of tariff calculations guests aged between 3 and 15 years at time of stay are classed as children. Infants aged 2 years or under at the time of stay are free of charge. 16 and over are classed as Adults.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations to bookings more than 14 days out from their arrival date will receive a full refund -$50 for booking fees.

Cancellations to bookings 14 days or less from their arrival date will not receive any refunds.

Covid-19 Special Clause for peace of mind – Should government travel restrictions prevent you from being able to attend your booking within 14 days from the check in date a full credit will be issued to use at another time.

Bookings that depart early or arrive later than their booked dates that are not advised in writing prior to 14 days out from their arrival date will be charged the full booking price of the original booking.

 

Damage to Premises

Any damage, breakage or misplacement to Rivarnia's facilities/amenities caused during stay that requires replacement, repair, or service will be charged against the credit card or debit card provided. The charges will be at the sole discretion of Rivarnia management and will apply for up to 7 days after departure.

 

Firewood

Is available free of charge for use in the cottage fireplace.

 

Flora and Fauna

Guests are required to take particular care to protect our native fauna and the animals and birdlife which are very trusting and visitor friendly. Please do not feed any of the animals.

 

Parties and Noise

To ensure everyone (animals included) can have a good night rest, noise is to be kept to a minimum after 9pm. There is a no party policy in the cottage.

 

Servicing long stays

The cottage will be serviced once a week, extra towels can be provided at an extra charge if you would like a more frequent service.

 

Tariffs

Management reserves the right to alter the tariffs, but every attempt will be made to notify guests of the change.

 

Failure to comply with these rules may result in guests being asked to leave the accommodation.
